About our rabbitry...

Kim's Hopping Lops is a small rabbitry located in Fleetwood, Pennsylvania. We raise, breed, and show Holland Lops and Lionheads. We are members of the Berks County 4-h Rabbit and Cavy Club and we are also members of the American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA).
A Little Bit About Holland Lops
Holland Lops make great pets. They are very mellow and they are the smallest breed of lop-eared rabbit. Holland Lops don't need a ton of space and they eat less food than bigger rabbits. They were named after Holland and the breed was created in the 1960's. The average life span for a Holland Lop is about 10 years. Their ears should hang down an inch below their jawbone and sit next on their cheeks. The head should be high on their shoulders. The average size of a litter is 4 kits. The ideal weight is 3 pounds, but they should be about 2-4 pounds.
A Little Bit About Lionheads

Lionheads
Lionheads make sweet pets and they are a new breed. They're scientific name is Oryctologus cuniculus. They orginated in Belguim. The average lifespan of a Lionhead is eight years. Lionheads weigh about there and a half pounds.
